Leonora welcomes CEO and Founder of Oxwash, Dr Kyle Grant to the show. Oxwash has reinvented laundry and dry cleaning services with their on-demand service that uses state-of-the-art low impact washing technology.
“Although it may seem a boring topic, washing is something we all do every day! I never understand how our family can get through so much dirty laundry day in, day out, and the washer and dryer seem to be endlessly spinning. Kyle’s a bit of a laundry expert and has so many brilliant tips, hacks, and advice for washing as a family. He shares simple ideas everybody can implement – for example, the use of a microfibre filter to capture all those nasty bits of plastic, stain removal, and why none of us should ever use a dry cleaner ever again!
It was a real pleasure learning from Kyle and I’m making some changes immediately!” Leonora Bamford.
Oxwash is offering our audience £10 off their first order with Oxwash with the code BABA10 – valid until June 30th.

After a successful career at Nasa as an astronaut health and life support systems engineer, Kyle completed a DPhil in Synthetic Biology at the University of Oxford.
After frustration with the awful laundry facilities at the world’s top university, Kyle founded Oxwash, then a student laundry service, with a spray-painted Deliveroo backpack. With the rapid growth in both B2C and B2B clients, it was critical to build a solution that held true to Kyle’s core sustainability principles. Thus the first pilot Oxwash ‘lagoon’ was engineered and brought online in Oxford.
Kyle has been recognised for his innovative leadership and entrepreneurship by Forbes 30-under-30 and Barclays Entrepreneur, plus selected for the prestigious University of Oxford: Oxford Foundry Elevate program.
