Nutritional Chef for the UK’s charity Baby’s Taste Journey
Alice’s love of good food and its provenance was kindled at a young age, growing up on a fruit farm in Scotland, making jams, jellies, cakes and cordials in the seasonal farm shop and tea room.
After cooking professionally worldwide and completing her MA from Edinburgh University, Alice moved to London to work for the children’s cookbook author Annabel Karmel, assisting in the fine tuning of recipes, and styling food for Annabel’s children’s cooking TV show, as well as advising parents on nutrition, weaning and feeding the family.
Alice has been studying nutrition for the last three years and now runs the UK food education charity Baby’s Taste Journey, founded by Cat Gazzoli, and takes workshops teaching families about introducing new foods, and getting children to eat a wide variety of healthy foods from an early age.
